Trust Operations Assistant - Sioux Falls, SD

Liberty National Bank's Wealth Management Division located in downtown Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an Operations Assistant that is hard working, detail-oriented, and motivated. The ideal candidate is searching for a minimum of 30 hours per week with the flexibility of more hours periodically, as needed by the department. The Operations Assistant will report to the Operations Manager. 

Duties & responsibilities include:

  • Accomplishing daily functions of the Wealth Management Operations Department as assigned, including data input and daily balancing; clerical duties; preparing checks and handling internal and external funds transfers, receipts and distributions; posting various types of transactions and verifying the accuracy of same; account updates and maintenance; processing/mailing periodic account statements; reconciling general ledger accounts; assisting with year-end tax reporting requirements; maintaining account files; adhering to department policies and procedures; and miscellaneous duties as assigned.?
  • Assist the Trust Officers with administrative activities and projects as assigned.

Wealth Management Operations Assistant qualifications and skills include:

  • Prior wealth management operations experience a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping/accounting principles a plus but not required.
  • Proficient with Word, Excel & Power Point.
  • Very organized.
  • Attention to detail, and protecting confidentiality, is a must.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once & spot various operational or administrative issues & resolve with the assistance of the Operations Manager.
  • Possess the ability to perform both independently and as a team.
  • Possess excellent oral & written communication skills.

Trust Officer / Trust Business Development Officer

This is an extraordinary opportunity for the right candidate to work for a National Bank (with South Dakota trust powers) that desires to expand its Wealth Management Division. We are Liberty National Bank headquartered in Sioux City, IA with branch offices located in Des Moines, Okoboji, and South Dakota (Dakota Dunes, North Sioux City, Elk Point and three branches in Sioux Falls).  This position is available at any Liberty National Bank location.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new Wealth Management client relationships through proactive sales and relationship management efforts.
  • Facilitate the referral of high net worth clients and prospective clients to the Wealth Management Division, including investment management, trust / fiduciary services, and private banking services.
  • Actively participate in sales and development of trust, investment management, and private banking prospects.
  • Initiate contacts for developing and establishing new investment management agency, rollover IRA, personal trust and custodial business.
  • Meet with prospective clients to discuss Wealth Management Division products and services, and maintain contact with clients and organizations regarding account performance, administrative matters, tax planning and other issues to ensure the client's financial goals are being achieved.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with numerous sources of new business referrals and centers of influence, including bank personnel, bank shareholders, attorneys, accountants, financial services professionals and various social contacts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelorís Degree.
  • 8+ years of direct client contact with wealth management, trust, investment management and sales experience in the financial services industry.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, networking and relationship management / sales skills.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a very team-oriented environment along with trust officers, investment officers, banking officers and bank operations personnel.

IT Helpdesk Technician Ė Sioux Falls, SD

This is an extraordinary opportunity for the right candidate to work for a leading National Bank.  In this role, you will provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware/software solutions, and supporting the IT Manager.

Responsibilites and Duties:

  • Administration of client workstations, printers, mobile devices and related equipment.
  • Provide helpdesk support by responding quickly to resolve issues to the end userís satisfaction.
  • Utilize and maintain the helpdesk logging system.
  • Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation.
  • Document internal procedures.
  • Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software.
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses.
  • Preform user workstation setup and deployment using standard hardware and software.
  • Maintain consistency and organization on desktop and laptop computers.
  • Complete timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required.
  • Update software programs as needed.
  • Perform onsite visits as necessary.
  • Ability to grow into other responsibilities within the IT Department.
  • Flexibility to changing needs.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Possess team building skills.

Qualifications:

  • An associate degree or comparable experience in the information technologies field preferred. The combination of education and experience may substitute for college degree.
  • 1-2 years of relevant technical experience preferred.
  • Customer service oriented with problem solving and adaptability skills.
  • Valid Drivers License as some travel is required.

Hours are Monday - Friday between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional after hours and/or weekend support as needed.


Sr. Commercial Lender - Dakota Dunes, SD

Opportunity for Experienced Mortgage Lender
