Operations Assistant - Wealth Management Division - Sioux Falls, SD

Liberty National Bank’s Wealth Management Division located in downtown Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an Operations Assistant that is hard working, detail-oriented, and motivated.  The Operations Assistant will report to the Operations Manager.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Accomplishing daily functions of the Wealth Management Operations Department as assigned, including data input, managing complex transactions, execution & settlement of securities trading activity, verifying accuracy thereof, wire transfers, account maintenance, account statement preparation & review, reconciling general ledger accounts, assisting with year-end tax reporting requirements & maintaining account files.
  • Assist with opening new accounts, including data input, preparation of standard legal documents & applications & reviews.
  • Assist Trust Officers with the preparation and formatting of various reports, researching investment information and data, and providing customer service to 401k plan customers.
  • Prepare meeting materials as assigned to include agenda & supporting reports.

Qualifications include:

  • Prior wealth management operations experience a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles a plus.
  • Proficient with Word, Excel & Power point.
  • Very organized.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Flexible to changing needs.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once & spot various operational or administrative issues & resolve with assistance of the Operations Manager.

Credit Analyst  - Sioux Falls, SD

This is an extraordinary opportunity for the right candidate to work for a leading National Bank with a growing loan department. We are Liberty National Bank headquartered in Sioux City, IA with nine additional locations throughout IA & SD.  This opportunity is in Sioux Falls, SD.

Responsibilities include:

  • Follow established procedures and policies in analyzing commercial, agricultural and consumer loans.
  • Assists with reviewing financial statements of parties seeking loans.
  • Assists with the preparation of loan proposals & summaries.
  • Participates in the annual review process by verifying tax returns & financial statements for accuracy & potential credit risk.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience with WebEquity.
  • Bachelor's degree or minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience.


Lead Teller - Dakota Dunes, SD 

Liberty National Bank has a position open for a Lead Teller at the Dakota Dunes location.  Hours are typically Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.  There is also an occasional Saturday from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.

Qualifications include basic computer skills, ten-key, highly organized, ability to multi-task, flexible & friendly.  Prior banking experience is required.  Responsibilities include providing high quality customer service while performing all types of teller transactions, vault teller, scheduling & back-up to new accounts.

Hourly wage is negotiable depending on experience.

Liberty National Bank is seeking a Retail Banking Manager / Private Banker for the Dakota Dunes location that is hard working, motivated & has prior banking experience.

Duties & qualifications include:

  • Responsibility for overall leadership and management of retail banking and related activities in the Bank's branches including sales, service, policies, procedures, tracking mechanisms, and financial/compliance standards.
  • Key responsibility is growth of the Bank’s core deposits and customer relationships.
  • Establish new customer relationships and retain existing customer relationships through performing the opening of new demand deposit accounts, CDs, IRAs and other retail banking products.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new Wealth Management client relationships through proactive sales and relationship management efforts.
  • Manage, administer and retain high net worth trust and investment relationships, including 401(k) plan clients.
  • Facilitate the referral of high net worth clients and prospective clients to the Wealth Management Division, including investment management, 401(k) plan services, trust/fiduciary services and private banking services.
  • Actively participate in sales and development of trust, investment management, 401(k) plan services, and private banking prospects.
  • Initiate contacts for developing and closing new 401(k) plan services, investment management agency, personal trust and custodial business.
  • Meet with prospective clients to explain Wealth Management Division products and services, and maintain contact with existing clients and organizations regarding account performance, administrative matters, tax planning and other issues to ensure the client's financial goals are being met.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with numerous sources of new business referrals and centers of influence, including bank personnel, bank shareholders, attorneys, accountants, financial services professionals and various social contacts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years of wealth management, trust, investment management and sales experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience with 401(k) plan services a plus, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, networking and relationship management/sales skills.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a very team-oriented environment along with trust officers, investment officers, banking officers and bank operation personnel.
