Lead Teller - Dakota Dunes, SD 

Liberty National Bank has a position open for a Lead Teller at the Dakota Dunes location.  Hours are typically Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.  There is also an occasional Saturday from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.

Qualifications include basic computer skills, ten-key, highly organized, ability to multi-task, flexible & friendly.  Prior banking experience is required.  Responsibilities include providing high quality customer service while performing all types of teller transactions, vault teller, scheduling & back-up to new accounts.

Hourly wage is negotiable depending on experience.

Wealth Management Operations Assistant - Sioux Falls, SD 

Liberty National Bank's Wealth Management Division located in downtown Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an Operations Assistant that is hard working, detail-oriented, and motivated.

The Operations Assistant will report to the Operations Manager.  Duties & qualifications will include:

  • Assist with opening new accounts, including data input, preparation of standard legal documents & applications & reviews.
  • Assist Trust Officers with the preparation and formatting of various reports, researching investment information and data, and providing customer service to 401(k) plan customers.
  • Prepare meeting materials as assigned to include agenda & supporting reports.

Wealth Management Operations Assistant qualifications include:

  • Minimum Associate's degree or working towards same.
  • Prior wealth management operations experience a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles a plus.
  • Proficient with Word, Excel & Power Point.
  • Very organized.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Flexible to changing needs.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once & spot various operational or administrative issues & resolve with assistant of the Operations Manager.

Liberty National Bank is seeking a Retail Banking Manager / Private Banker for the Dakota Dunes location that is hard working, motivated & has prior banking experience.

Duties & qualifications include:

  • Responsibility for overall leadership and management of retail banking and related activities in the Bank's branches including sales, service, policies, procedures, tracking mechanisms, and financial/compliance standards.
  • Key responsibility is growth of the Bankís core deposits and customer relationships.
  • Establish new customer relationships and retain existing customer relationships through performing the opening of new demand deposit accounts, CDs, IRAs and other retail banking products.

Data Processor / Customer Service Representative - Sioux City, IA

Liberty National Bank in Sioux City, IA is seeking a Data Processor / Customer Service Representative that is hard working, motivated & has prior operations experience.

Duties & qualifications include:

  • Assists with the daily functions of the Operations Department, including incoming and outgoing ACH files and ACH returns, incoming and outgoing wire transfers, cash letter processing, proof, update, ATM processing, savings bond processing, account maintenance, statement preparation, research and customer support. Assists with the daily functions of the return item processing, including incoming and outgoing return items, ACH returns, rejects, warnings, deposit verifications, research and support.
  • Implements approved Bank policies and procedures and monitors all assigned work activities to assure adherence to prescribed policies and procedures.
  • Resolves difficult customer complaints and problems in an efficient and effective manner to improve the level of service provided to customers.
  • Assists with the reconciliation of general ledger accounts monthly & daily. Monitors maintenance journal. Reviews participation and loan advance reports. Investigates questionable entries.
  • Contributing member of the Operations Committee monthly meeting.

Degree in Finance or Management; or minimum 5 years of experience or training in Bank Operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Liberty National Bank in Sioux Falls, SD & Dakota Dunes, SD is seeking a Personal Banker that is hard working, motivated & has prior banking experience for our recently opened Downtown Sioux Falls location.

Personal Banker duties & qualifications include:

  • Performs the functions of the new accounts area, including opening new demand deposit accounts, CDs, IRAs and other retail banking products through a broad understanding of bank products, cross sells additional bank products such as ATM / Debit cards and refers customers to other areas of the bank such as Wealth Management.
  • Coordinates consumer loan processing from the period of application through approval and closing in a timely manner, while providing quality customer service.
  • Supervises Teller Line and acts as back-up teller.
  • Self-motivated.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new Wealth Management client relationships through proactive sales and relationship management efforts.
  • Manage, administer and retain high net worth trust and investment relationships, including 401(k) plan clients.
  • Facilitate the referral of high net worth clients and prospective clients to the Wealth Management Division, including investment management, 401(k) plan services, trust/fiduciary services and private banking services.
  • Actively participate in sales and development of trust, investment management, 401(k) plan services, and private banking prospects.
  • Initiate contacts for developing and closing new 401(k) plan services, investment management agency, personal trust and custodial business.
  • Meet with prospective clients to explain Wealth Management Division products and services, and maintain contact with existing clients and organizations regarding account performance, administrative matters, tax planning and other issues to ensure the client's financial goals are being met.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with numerous sources of new business referrals and centers of influence, including bank personnel, bank shareholders, attorneys, accountants, financial services professionals and various social contacts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years of wealth management, trust, investment management and sales experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience with 401(k) plan services a plus, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, networking and relationship management/sales skills.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
